Objectively it can be measured that he has added debt at a significantly higher rate than Bush. Obama has quite measurably accelerated the drug war. Obama has kept is in the countries Bush has sent us to, and Obama has taken us into even MORE countries.
The list goes on and on. Like civil liberties and spying.
The purely wasteful massive load of corporate welfare called “the stimulus” was paid back? Sorry, not true. There's tens of billions in outright gifts to Detroit automakers that won't ever return. The people that swindled the taxpayers out of billions in Soylindra, etc in the stimulus got off scot-free. The list goes on and on and on.
None of this is “far out”, Jersey. And so much of what Obama is worse than Bush on often turns out to be left/liberal issues: war overseas, the war on drugs, civil liberties, black poverty and more.
By the way, on a “nit”, most leftists call the wasteful handouts to corporations “the stimulus” also. It's a fair abbreviation.

Take the bailout. In the end, it cost the taxpayer about 12 billion. But the jobs saved alone brought in 3 times that in federal tax revenue. You just don't understand the issue.

That's more than 12 billion of pure waste. The auto industry and jobs would have been saved by conventional bankruptcy proceedings… with zero cost to taxpayers.

Jersey, I tend to vote Libertarian pretty uniformly. While I wouldn't use the term 'invaded', it's a fact that this POTUS has ramped up military operations in m ore countries than during the previous Administration.

Anyway, Obama undeniable increased US military operations beyond the situation/trends left by Bush: increasing operations (and US casualties) in Afghanistan, diving into a new war in Iraq (with troops too) when the Bush time frame had the US out, and Obama getting the US military involved in countries Bush never had us in.
When presented with these facts, Jersey only insults and says “???”. Yeah “phoning it in” is a fair assessment. He's not made one valid point here, our even tried.

dmarks, I agree that semantic gymnastics are overkill….but “invaded” connotes a military enterprise on the scale of Iraq/Afghanistan. Obama has more quietly inserted our presence into Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Uganda and others.

Indeed. I find so many on the left actually proud of how Wall Street has flourished under Obama. Needless to say, they won't mention Main Street or the poor. The record is terrible there. The defenders of Obama's poor track record don't want us to compare the soaring black unemployment (especially for teens) on his watch to such things as the strong growth in the black middle class under Ronald Reagan.
