The GOP arguments against the Fox debate rules…..

Show their hypocrisy when it comes to allowing mainstream third parties participate in the politico-media duopoly.

  1. It is sad that so many people think they have to choose one evil or the other.

    Trump: statist in populist clothing
    Cruz: statist in conservative clothing
    Perry: statist in texan clothing
    Bush: the third
    Fiorina: hardcore social conservative
Paul: the most libertarian, but not as much as his father

    Sanders: Obama: The Sequel
    Hillary: Bitch

    • Sanders is way to the Left of Obama. Given the chance, he’d stand down the military. Congress can appropriate anything they want, but he could force them to either declare war, on what we’d have to imagine, or just not spend the money, slow down recruiting to a crawl and start closing bases. Sanders is for real. That’s why people like me are big fans. That’s why he, and Paul, can’t win. The defense establishment is extremely powerful in this country.

Hillary would be Obama 2. Period. Still, much better than the alternative. Much, much, much better.

      • Age it out by slowing recruiting, and closing bases – lots and lots of bases, and dismantling much of the technological infrastructure as well. We do not need to destroy the world many times over. Once is enough, no?

      • I would also wonder how you would figure that Sanders would be able to effect that size of paradigm shift, even with a Democrat controlled Congress…..given not only the realities of national security, but likewise the constituent concerns over such a massive loss of employment and graft.

obama had similar lofty goals. Closing gitmo, a “nuclear free world” blah blah blah. All wishful thinking that could not and would not become policy. That is why I maintain that sanders is obama-2. Politicians are good at convincing people that they are “the real deal” and every two years, people line up to vote, thinking that it makes a difference.

  3. Obama is not like Bush at all. For the sake of stability and facing reality Obama has had to continue much of all his predecessors’ legacies, but where any President has been able to move in new directions, Obama’s has been a very different course than Bush’s. Hillary is another matter, but we’ll be finding out soon enough.
