While Andrew Jackson was an American badass, and eliminated the national debt….I don’t really have an issue with replacing a Democrat with a gun owner.

Now, is it time to remove “In God We Trust” from our currency as well? I say yes, and welcome any cogent argument in favor of keeping it.

      • There actually was a movement in San Francisco (yeah, I know) to “put Joan on the $20”

Somewhat tongue in cheek to be sure but along with Renata Adler and Susan Sontag she may have chronicled the problems with American culture from the 70’s on as well as anyone.
She certainly had a more rational grasp of the nation than say, George Will.

She didn’t sugar coat it, either.
